2nd Shift Production Associate - Grinder

Responsibilities

• Operate spot welder
• Use hand tools such as drill and sander
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
• Inspect and maintain equipment for compliance with safety requirements
• Notify Production Supervisor of safety issues
• Inspect parts per work in process inspection procedure
• Notify Production Supervisor or Quality Assurance Inspector of quality and/or mechanical problems
• Perform minor repairs and equipment adjustments, as needed
• Work from blueprints, engineering specifications, and production schedules
• Maintain a clean work area
• Dispose of trash and production scrap
• Assist in cleaning common areas

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications
• Capable of using measuring devices as required for product inspection
• Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates
