2nd Shift Process Technician - Milling - $23.99/hour + $1.50 shift diff

About the role

The Process Tech - Milling Shift Assignment position is available for a 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) in Shelbyville, Kentucky, USA. This role offers a competitive salary of $23.99+$1.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet service level goals
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals
• Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI
• Properly fill out all documentation and labels
• Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gages
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling 5 to 25 pounds
• Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
• Flexibility to work overtime

Qualifications

• No written disciplinary action for violation of company policy, production or safety within last six months
• No written disciplinary action for attendance within last 12 months

Skills

Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow. Must be able to operate basic tools and equipment, read and follow blueprints, and maintain quality standards.
