Responsibilities
- Operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers, and snack food processing equipment
- Responsible for changeover and setup of mixing, cooking, and processing equipment
- Clean machine parts after changeovers, discard trash/waste, monitor tank levels, and clean seasoning trays, floors, and ovens in the processing area
- Record daily machine and process information such as batch counts, start & stop times, oil meter readings, waste recordings, and pounds of flour
- Change and maintain Urschel slicer heads to ensure quality and consistent slices
- Ensure manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods
- Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance
- Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data
- Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with teams to ensure timely material replenishment
- Other ERP responsibilities and duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen
- Must complete a pre-placement screening to test ability to perform physical requirements of the position
- Good mechanical skill-related background preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water
- Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment with exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and moving parts
- Good balance on slippery surfaces
- Must be able to lift at least 21 pounds
