About the role

The Material Coordinator supports the manufacturing plant by performing tasks such as entering data into SAP, resolving discrepancies, receiving and issuing parts, assisting in productivity, identifying parts, updating management on shortages, investigating missing parts, keeping a shortage list, and informing shipping of findings.

Responsibilities

  • Entering data into SAP database about quantities of issued and transferred parts
  • Resolving job/segments shortage discrepancies
  • Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issue out to upcoming jobs
  • Aiding in daily tasks to ensure productivity efficiency
  • Identifying parts through the use of UKG and drawings
  • Updating senior management on status of shortages on the segments
  • Investigating missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
  • Monitoring and keeping an updated shortage list available for the Shipping Management team
  • Working with every department to resolve shortages to close job/segments in time
  • Informing shipping of any findings to help segments ship on time

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • UKG/SAP experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

Schedule

Full Time | 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 100 PM - 930 PM Saturdays
