2nd Shift Packer - $19/hr

Responsibilities

• Set up scale machine for proper weight of box being packaged.
• Lift waist to waist and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Fill box with parts until proper weight is indicated and affix labels to boxes.
• Pack boxes onto shelf boxes.
• Visually inspect all merchandise for quality, checking for defects or bad plating.
• Accurately package merchandise while maintaining a high production level.
• Document quality standards, including product accuracy, labeling quality, and country of origin accuracy.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write small letters and numbers.
• Ability to make arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to follow and understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to concentrate and communicate with management and co-workers.
• Ability to lift objects weighing fifty (50) pounds waist to waist.
• Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for long periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend and twist the back.
• Ability to finely manipulate and grip objects.
• Ability to squat and reach.

Pay

$19 per hour, plus $200 bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.
