2nd Shift Milling Machinist - Coon Rapids

About the role
The Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 pm - 3:30 am)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000-$10,000 dependent on level of experience
Responsibilities
- Operate Milling CNC machines
- Perform quality inspection on completed parts
- Perform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
- Complete tool changes
Requirements
- Operator experience with Milling CNC machines
- Strong math background, preferably in machine math/shop math
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using a microscope
- Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer
Skills
- Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
- Previous experience with tight tolerances
- Programming experience with Milling CNC Machines
- Experience with set-up on Milling CNC Machines
- Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machines

Pay
USD $21.20 - USD $40.67 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
