2nd shift Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

Maintaining the buildings so they function in a quality manner. Completing all work in a timely manner according to the clients’ requirements and making necessary repairs on buildings and equipment.

• Met all quality and productivity metrics
• Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
• Effectively communicates with external vendors and contractors as applicable to request quotes and/or complete projects
• Learns and performs routine and non-routine duties independently to execute with minimal guidance
• Diagnoses problems and suggests possible solutions
• Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in professional area
• Understands technical knowledge or skills not easily or quickly learned on the job
• Demonstrates and maintains awareness of innovations and progress in respective field(s)
• Aids with projects in a timely manner
• Installs new equipment and repairs minor to critical campus equipment
• Assists with projects and responds to emergent repairs
• Serves Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS)
• Administers preventative maintenance
• Provides general assistance to supervisor
• Conducts trash handling
• Communicates effectively with clients and staff members
• Performs all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of Mechanical experience in one of the mentioned fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or a closely related experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is Full-time, Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
