2nd Shift Material Handler - Part time
U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is seeking a 2nd Shift Part-Time Material Handler to join our values-based organization in Hebron, OH. Starting pay rate is $18/hour.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders, and transporting material.
- Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
- Maintain the condition of the warehouse work area (e.g., free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors).
- Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other employees to complete required workload.
- Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
- Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy, and track and trace issues.
- Read and understand tickets and the various codes for products.
- Read a tape measure and accurately pull daily orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
- Prior lumber experience desired.
- Engineered lumber experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
