2nd shift - Material Handler I (West)

Responsibilities

  • Daily inspection and care of equipment.
  • Communicate with your shift’s Front Line Leader concerning daily work priorities.
  • Load and unload trailers in a safe manner.
  • Complete cycle counts.
  • Stage finished product.
  • Pull orders from inventory and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Work weekends and/or overtime as assigned.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid Fork-lift permit (fork-lift training and permit will be provided).
  • Meet physical requirements.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Good math skills and basic computer skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good communication skills / team oriented.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Mounting and dismounting forklift.
  • Driving forklift.
  • Changing forklift battery / or propane tank.
  • Transferring product from pallet to pallet.
  • Picking up empty pallets and stacking them.
