About the role

The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the manufacturing floor. Key responsibilities include ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining quality standards, enforcing safety protocols, leading and training a team, resolving issues promptly, managing resources, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activities to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain quality standards and monitor manufacturing processes.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team to foster a productive work environment.
  • Identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Manage resources to optimize production output.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on manufacturing metrics, quality, and safety.
  • Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior print experience with a focus on die-cutting and gluing experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
