2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Founded on the principle of delivering the finest work possible for our clients, we now operate four facilities in the Toledo area and one in Pioneer, Ohio. We are adding Maintenance/Electrical Technicians to support our continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Maumee, Ohio, offering competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.

About the role

Hours for this position are typically: 2nd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 2PM-10PM.

Pay

Weekly pay of $32-38/hour based on experience, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple-to-complex duties to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Assist with emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Perform electrical duties including:
  • Working with PLCs
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Working with 120v, 220v, 480v, and 13.8k volt circuits
  • Installing, repairing, and troubleshooting starters, relays, switches, proximity circuits, variable frequency drives (VFD), contactors, and input/output circuits
• Perform mechanical tasks including:
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Complete simple to complex fabrication projects, typically involving welding components together.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Perform aerial tasks using scissor lifts, baskets, and booms.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Authority to stop production if unsafe parts or conditions appear.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen).
• Must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays).
• 5+ years of progressive industrial experience in electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and industrial skills.
• Experience in industrial maintenance.
• Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Must report to work on time to support production startup.
• Good physical stamina and coordination; ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and basic math skills; physical dexterity.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
