2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic Lead

About the role

This person will be responsible for making sure the department runs efficiently, restoring breakdowns quickly and safely, assisting production, and assuming supervisor responsibilities in absence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental operations at set efficiency levels.
• Restore breakdowns in the quickest and safest manner possible.
• Aid production in daily operations.
• Assist in addressing production needs proactively.
• Assume supervisor responsibilities in absence.
• Train fellow team members/new hires as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Additional maintenance training/experience required.
• Minimum of three years mechanical background.
• Knowledge of both welding and plumbing.
• Ability to operate a cutting torch and plasma cutter.
• Able to operate loaders.
• Excellent attendance (4.0 pts or less), safety, and work records.

• Operational proficiency with tools like cutting torches and loaders.

Based upon education and experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday with some weekend work required; 12:30 pm-8:30 pm.
