About the role
This person will be responsible for making sure the department runs efficiently, restoring breakdowns quickly and safely, assisting production, and assuming supervisor responsibilities in absence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain departmental operations at set efficiency levels.
- Restore breakdowns in the quickest and safest manner possible.
- Aid production in daily operations.
- Assist in addressing production needs proactively.
- Assume supervisor responsibilities in absence.
- Train fellow team members/new hires as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Additional maintenance training/experience required.
- Minimum of three years mechanical background.
- Knowledge of both welding and plumbing.
- Ability to operate a cutting torch and plasma cutter.
- Able to operate loaders.
- Excellent attendance (4.0 pts or less), safety, and work records.
Skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Welding and plumbing knowledge.
- Operational proficiency with tools like cutting torches and loaders.

Based upon education and experience.
Schedule
Monday-Friday with some weekend work required; 12:30 pm-8:30 pm.
