2nd Shift Machine Operator $3.50 Shift Differential

What You Will Do

• Pre-operation machine inspection - load screws and hinges.
• Sort and push door stacks down the conveyor tracks.
• Use mallet to loosen doors.
• Load hinge machine with bifold door panels for hinging.
• Inspect and ensure hardware aligned and applied correctly prior to push off.
• Pull off cullboards, change bits, restock rails/assist.
• Reject doors are directed to repair and remakes requested.
• LOTO certified and use of air gun during clean up.

Qualifications

• Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting working in a similar role
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Work on a computer
• Use a Tape Measure, Caliper
• Use hand and power tools
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to add and subtract fractions and whole numbers, convert fractions to decimals
• (Exceptional math abilities are a must.)
• Ability to read, follow, and understand work instructions
• Ability to do small repairs on doors
