Job Responsibilities
- Conduct verification inspections for post sanitation and pre-operation cleans.
- Conduct pre-operational and environmental monitoring swabs.
- Monitor room, cooler and incubator temperatures.
- Conduct routine testing and monitoring of product and packaging attributes to established specifications.
- Conduct daily review of labels and retain product.
- Conduct real time review of production records.
- Conduct daily line inspections.
- Conduct routine data entry and filing of paperwork.
Requirements
- Maintain company confidentiality.
Qualifications
- High School Degree.
- Ability to complete tasks based on standard procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work cross-functionally.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Food Science or related field.
- SAP experience.
- HACCP Certification.
Pay
The pay for this position is $23.95/hr - $24.60/hr. All offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.
Schedule
Hours: 1:00PM-9:30PM
Working Conditions
- Ability to constantly stand/walk;
- Frequent bending/flexing/necking;
- Frequent gripping/reaching/lifting/pulling with L/R hands.
Work is performed in a lab setting. Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery. Work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 60-80 degrees F.
