2nd Shift Forklift Operator

About the Role

SBA Home North Carolina is the first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from the EU member Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers in a highly robotic and automated factory that will reach millions of homes in the US. We are looking for a Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating equipment and handling materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out production and other cargo transportation by forklift
• Check the technical condition of the forklift before starting work
• Check whether other employees involved in the operations are ready for work
• Perform scheduled tasks of the day: unloading and loading works by hand and truck
• Ensure timely and high-quality work: safely transport cargo, perform quality checks, and inform manager of any low-quality product
• Stack and organize products according to inventory standards
• Ensure a safe work environment by driving a forklift truck in accordance with road/warehouse traffic rules
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace
• Maintain the forklift truck and perform high-quality technical services
• Maintain positive working relationships and good communication with co-workers and management
• In the event of an emergency, behave in accordance with approved safety instructions, warning signs, and use of an evacuation plan

Qualifications

• Current forklift certification/license is an advantage
• Ability to perform functions in a safe manner at all times
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a forklift operator
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check

2nd shift: 2pm–10pm
