Tasks And Responsibilities

• Uses gauges, markers, fixtures, jigs, calipers or any other measuring device to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
• Supports and aids in the Quality of parts per line(s).
• Completes part quality checks in compliance with the standard for each model.
• Supports the review and disposition of defective parts.
• Supports confirming check sheets are complete.
• Understands and performs testing as directed by the Quality team.

Quality

• Aids in ensuring quality requirements and packaging requirements are met.
• Ensures associates understand and follow all change point procedures and complete required documentation.

Safety & Environmental

• Promotes a safety-first attitude by following OSHA regulations.
• Captures and coordinates safety and environmental repair activities.

Delivery

• Ensures the accuracy of quantity and labeling of containers for shipment.
• Communicates production management concerns regarding shipping.
• Moves materials using pallet jacks.

Reporting

• Supports business plan targets and monitors measurable goals based on business plan objectives.
• Reports quality issues to the quality department and production issues to the manufacturing department.

Preferred Skills

• Blueprint reading, hand tools use, measuring tools experience.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships.
• Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office programs.

Minimum Experience & Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in related field (2-5 years).
• Astemo experience (desired).
