About the role

As a Class A Driver, you will transport hazardous waste from generator facilities to Company facilities and/or outside disposal sites while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) and hazardous waste regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Properly load and unload hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste (e.g., drums are properly segregated and loaded).
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment.
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazardous Materials/Waste (HAZMAT), and RCRA requirements/regulations.
• Work in and around tank farms and rail sites.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles, and Airbrake endorsements required.
• Ability to use a handheld device (ELD).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Clean driving record.
