2nd Shift Cooler Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for supervising and directing warehouse and cooler employees to enhance productivity and meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, and monitor work to meet business demands and customer requirements.
• Coordinate activities among employees to ensure accurate loading of outgoing vehicles and delivery of finished products.
• Communicate with internal departments to maintain appropriate inventory levels and track incoming loads and invoices.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate product delivery.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations, and actively promote safe work behaviors.
• Participate in collective bargaining agreements and other contract-related activities as necessary.
• Communicate with employees through shift meetings and informal methods, fostering a positive work environment.
• Conduct accident investigations and report injuries to HR, adhering to reporting standards.
• Manage employee time records and participate in performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement best practices in production efficiency, quality control, and safety protocols.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost containment.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain and logistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse, cooler, distribution, production, logistics, or related environment, with demonstrated leadership or team lead experience. Supervisory experience preferred.

Pay

$70,000 - $83,000 annually.
