About the role

As a Coatings Operator, you’ll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in East Longmeadow, MA. You’ll get to perform process troubleshooting and run auxiliary equipment, including loading and unloading tools, starting and monitoring processes, and performing basic maintenance on machines such as blasting and cleaning equipment. This is a demanding, fast-paced position resulting from deadline pressures, simultaneous competing demands, and changing priorities. The right candidate will be a high-energy person with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Fixturing and loading of parts
• Cleaning and preparation of chamber
• Loading and unloading of parts
• General maintenance of parts, vacuum chambers, and related equipment
• Monitoring of process cycles
• Other related work and site maintenance

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude is a must
• Knowledge of vacuum technology and basic physics is a major consideration
• Ability to work flexible hours is required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Pay

The salary range for this position is $19.96 - $20.47 per hour, plus a 9% shift differential. The hourly rate offered may vary depending on job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and compliance with local wage requirements.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM.
