Responsibilities

  • Able to read, write and understand basic instructions in English
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly
  • Able to learn how to use measurement instruments
  • Able to follow direction
  • Able to complete first piece verification
  • Maintain a good attitude and be willing to learn
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and Production Team Leader
  • Be familiar with Human Performance tasks
  • Able to perform entry level set-ups
  • Understand the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable)
  • Knowledge of all measuring instruments and gages for their operation
  • Able to speak effectively before groups of co-workers, customers, auditors, etc.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Working knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles
  • Able to comply to all SPC daily Requirements (if applicable)
  • Able to understand and maintain machine complements (when applicable)
  • LOTO certified
  • Understands the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable)
  • Understanding of cutting tools (and offset geometry)
  • Proven demonstration of algebra/trig mathematical skills
  • Perform first piece verification process per part number
  • Able to be cross trained others as required
  • Able to assist supervisor and lead person in the training of CNC Operator I
  • Understanding of "G" and "M" Codes
  • Ability and willingness to program using different speeds and feeds
  • Exposure to different types of CNC brands and models
  • Independently run hand fed HAAS and automatic Takamaz
  • Exposure to large multiple spindle machines

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications: 3 years of CNC experience required
  • Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, CNC Certificate preferred

Benefits/Salary

The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation. The salary range for this position is $22hr to $27hr.
