2nd shift Bilingual Sr. Warehouse Supervisor

Essential Function

Responsible for the supervision and maintenance of all warehouse functions on a daily basis.

Primary Duties

• Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to customer specification and delivered in a timely manner.
• Selects, develops and evaluates staff to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse and shipping/receiving functions
• Provides direction and leadership to team according to established policies and management guidance.
• Reviews receipt of materials to ensure purchase orders are open and quality/quantity of materials received is correct; ensures proper levels of inventory on various supplies including shipping boxes.
• Maintains the slot maintenance program by correctly entering changes and monitors its efficiency.
• Provides input for establishing and modifying operational methods and procedures; implements and maintains material control systems and procedures; regulates and monitors productivity.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• A high school diploma is required, a bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred.
• Five (5) years of related experience in materials function, preferably in a retail-related industry.
• Advanced knowledge of quick-turn, ship-on-demand environments.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.

• Ability to work effectively with operations and other groups to ensure that site delivery and quality issues are met.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts, or machines; with irritant chemicals; etc.
• Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, gowns, coats, boots, goggles, gloves, or shields.
• The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing of tall ladders; lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, crouching or crawling or strenuous physical exertion.
