2nd Pressperson - Assistant Lithographic Sheetfed Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Aid Press Operators with press make ready and operation.
• Perform folder setups and maintain press register and color.
• Read and verify job tickets for stock and color specifications.
• Perform quality pull sheet procedures according to Orora press SOPs.
• Ensure samples are pulled and labeled according to Orora press SOPs.
• Ensure jobs meet customer specifications and deadlines.
• Follow safety policies and regulations.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance on the press.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience as a Second Press Operator.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, twist, and carry up to 50 - 75 pounds.
• Manipulate (push and pull) up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds utilizing pallet jack.
• Walk throughout the warehouse to complete customer orders.
• Stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment and when operating cutter.
• Sit only when driving sit-down material handling equipment.
• Lift items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Bend at the waist.
• Kneel when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations.
