Job Summary
This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K-5. This position manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities as required; carries out a variety of student monitoring and control activities; performs related duties as assigned.
About the Role
Serves as a general education, elementary classroom teachers (K-5); classes taught may be single or team or departmental setting, but teachers might work independently in a unique teaching specialty. Some positions are assigned to reading or technology labs.
Responsibilities
- Plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K-5.
- Manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities as required.
- Carries out a variety of student monitoring and control activities.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Virginia teaching license.
- Experience teaching grades K-5.

Pay
- $45,000 - $50,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
