2nd Grade Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Grant Elementary – contract dates August 17, 2026 to May 28, 2027. Daily pay: $125.00; after 30 consecutive days the rate increases to $252.71 per day, retroactive to the first day.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Department of Education certification in the assigned content area.
• Proficiency in teaching, including the ability to adapt educational methodology and instructional techniques to benefit students.
• Scholarly competence in the structure and content of the subject area.
• Ability to communicate with students and parents how the curriculum relates to them.
• Demonstrated ability to work and interact cooperatively and productively with staff, students, and administration.
