2nd Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and supervising of greens, tees and fairways, and layout of all construction on the course
• Schedule and supervise maintenance work including assignment to applicable staff, to achieve the most efficient utilization of workers and equipment
• Maintain tees, greens, fairways, rough and bunkers to a standard as determined by the Superintendent
• Supervise and participate in the fertilization, pesticide application, planting, and maintenance of the golf course, putting greens, and 5-acre event site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of experience supervising others
• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
• CA Qualified Applicator Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Thorough knowledge of construction and maintenance of golf greens, tees, fairways, and various types of turf grasses used on the golf course

Salary: $72,000 - $75,000
