2nd Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Setting Others Up for Success: Ensure the store crew is trained and prepared to meet expectations.
• Coach and inspire crew members regularly on improving performance and recognizing strengths.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and development of the store team.
• Instill the importance of customer service by focusing on training and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Achieve operational excellence by managing inventory, shrink, store financial targets, policy compliance, marketing promotions, product merchandising, and signage.
• Occasionally manage business disruptions such as loiterers, solicitation, emergency weather situations, and bathroom misuse.
• Lead and inspire others by maintaining professional and respectful communication, advocating for company objectives, and mentoring department managers.
• Roll up your sleeves and assist in all store operations, including body care, dairy/frozen, grocery, produce, receiving, and vitamins departments.
• Work evenings and weekends as part of the full schedule.
