2nd & 3rd Shift Electronic Electrician

About the Role

We are seeking a self-motivated, fully qualified industrial electronics electrician knowledgeable in state-of-the-art fabricating machinery and automated motion control systems. This position is available on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial laser cutting systems, automated sheet steel material handling systems, conveyor systems, CNC/PLC controlled turret punches, and hydraulic press brakes.
• Diagnose and repair heavy industrial fabrication machinery.
• Perform standard responsibilities associated with industrial electricians.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic.
• Work with electrical schematics and adhere to the N. E. C. (National Electrical Code).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an industrial electrician/electronic technician.
• Long-term familiarity with 240v/480v 3-phase electricity, relay logic, CNC/PLC controls, analog/digital feedback systems, motion control, and process control.
• Proficiency with electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with programming and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial laser cutting systems and automated sheet steel material handling systems.
