2G Emissions Inspector and Tech

About the role

EchoPark Automotive is hiring a 2G Smog Automotive Technician to join their team in Henderson, NV. This position offers a Sign-On Bonus of $3500.00.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
• Conduct 190 point vehicle inspections.
• Lube, filter, and flush vehicles.
• Repair brake systems and tires.
• Inspect and repair suspension and alignments.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle drivability issues.
• Perform light line work including gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pump, and alternator installations.
• Occasionally remove and install engines, transmissions, and other components, but without rebuilding or overhauling.

Requirements

• Must be state-certified where applicable.
• Must have a 2G Smog Certificate.
• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and respect for teammates.
