About the Role

The role of a paraprofessional at Visalia Unified School District involves supporting teachers and students in various capacities within the classroom environment. This position requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to assist in educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
• Support students with individualized learning needs
• Supervise students during class breaks and transitions
• Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers to provide feedback and support to students

Qualifications

• NCLB Compliance (Provide one of the following documents: College Degree or College Transcripts showing at least 48 units or Instructional Aide Certificate)
• Proof of HS Graduation (Provide one of the following documents: HS Diploma or HS Transcript showing date of graduation or GED or Higher Degree)
