About the role

Farmington Public Schools is seeking a 7th Grade Math Teacher for a full-time (1.0 FTE) position at Warner Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics instruction to 7th grade students in alignment with district curriculum and standards
• Develop and implement lesson plans that engage students in mathematical concepts and problem-solving
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student learning and development
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment conducive to learning

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan teaching certification with appropriate mathematics endorsement
• Demonstrated knowledge of middle school mathematics content and pedagogy
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required
