About the role
This position is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at North Farmington High School.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ASD.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with ASD in various academic subjects.
- Collaborate with other special education teachers, general education teachers, and school staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- A valid Michigan teaching certificate in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with ASD preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for teaching students with ASD.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
