26 AZ Serve VISTA - Literacy Connects Volunteer Specialist
About the role
The AmeriCorps VISTA member will develop systems to increase volunteer engagement, retention, and recognition at Literacy Connects, a program focusing on increasing literacy for all ages in Tucson, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Build capacity to increase active volunteers by 15% for the Reading Seed program through development of a Volunteer Recruitment Plan, Volunteer Onboarding Plan, and other tools to support data collection.
- Increase engagement for volunteers with Literacy Connects by collecting data and analyzing gaps in retention and recruitment. They will also identify partners to build robust recruitment pipelines.
- Through program development and strengthening, increase volunteer involvement in the Volunteer Leadership Council.
