26-27 Wilson Elementary - Title 1 Hourly Certified Tutor

Essential Job Functions

• Confer with school personnel to analyze diagnostic assessment results.
• Tutor elementary-grade students in reading.
• Maintain required records (student progress, assessment results, hours of tutoring, etc).
• Maintain a professional relationship with students, parents and educators.
• Participate in training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Good customer service/people skills.
• Handle problems and provide information and technical assistance as requested.
• Comply with safety guidelines and policies to reduce accidents or injury to staff or to students.
• Follow school dress standards, proper attendance or leave policies, and other work-habits concerns for staff.
• Help manage the computerization of school district operations.
• Provide training and support to district staff in the use of administrative computer systems.
• Utilize discretion, ingenuity and independent judgment due to the complexity of the job.
