About the role

This position involves teaching Special Education in a self-contained setting across all grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach students with special needs in a self-contained classroom environment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and therapists to support student success
• Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Reside in the US and within commutable distance to school
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• Complete background check

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs

Skills

• Knowledge of special education best practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
