About the role
This position is for Special Education resource and inclusion teachers.
Responsibilities
- Teach students with special needs in a variety of settings
- Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide support and resources to students and their families
- Mentor and coach other teachers as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Reside in the US and within commutable distance to school
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- Complete background check
Qualifications
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators
- Passion for supporting student success
Skills
- Knowledge of special education best practices
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
