About the role
This position is for Special Education resource and inclusion teachers.
Responsibilities
- Teach students with special needs in resource and inclusion settings
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide additional academic and behavioral support to students as needed
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Reside in the US and within commutable distance to school
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- Complete background check
Qualifications
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
Skills
- Knowledge of special education best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
