Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university, as well as a valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Teaching License and a valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Special Education License. A recommendation from the degree-granting institution and/or previous employing institution is also required.

Background Check
An FBI fingerprint background check will be conducted on all new hires of the Las Cruces Public Schools at a cost to the employee. Continued employment will be contingent upon the results of the background check.
