26/27 SY School Aide
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise students while in cafeteria and on playground.
- Aid as needed on the school campus.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
- Provide front office support and answer the telephone.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Assigned to on-campus reassignment room (OCR).
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience
Experience in working with school age children preferred.
Licensing
Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).
Knowledge
- Standard practices, methods and materials of assigned work.
- Occupational hazards and applicable safety principles and practices.
- Uses and properties of supplies and equipment.
- Customer service principles.
- Specialized equipment relevant to area of assignment.
- Modern office technology.

Ada And Other Requirements
Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Medium Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Work Conditions
Work is routinely performed in an indoor, outdoor and classroom environment including exposure to loud noise and being on your feet.
