About the role

The successful candidate will lead the women's JV basketball team, overseeing practices, games, and player development in collaboration with the varsity coach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee practices and games for the women's JV basketball team
• Collaborate with the varsity coach to develop team strategies and improve player skills
• Work with the athletic department to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations

Requirements

• At least 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• A bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience working with student-athletes and developing their skills

Qualifications

• Proven success in coaching high school basketball teams
• Experience with NCAA rules and regulations
• Ability to work effectively with the varsity coach and other school staff

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes
• Knowledge of current coaching techniques and trends
