Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher OR 48 credit hours from an accredited college/university; or pass the ParaPro test
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain educational assistant licensure issued by the New Mexico Public Education Department
• Experience as an educational assistant (preferred)
• Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish (preferred)

• Transcripts and/or ParaPro Assessment Scores
• Lateral Transfer Application (if applicable)

An FBI fingerprint background check will be conducted on all new hires at a cost to the employee. Continued employment is contingent upon the results of the background check.
