About the role

The role involves leading a team of students in basketball and cheerleading activities during the 26/27 school year. Responsibilities include planning practices, organizing games, and managing team logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute weekly basketball and cheerleading practices
• Organize and officiate school-level basketball and cheerleading games
• Manage team schedules and transportation arrangements
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure student safety and well-being

Requirements

• Experience coaching basketball and cheerleading at the middle school level
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with young athletes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (preferred)
• Current certification in CPR and first aid
• Previous experience working with middle school-aged students
