Member Duties
The Food Bank Services Specialist helps Pike Market Food Bank achieve our goal of increasing the health and well-being of our visitors by providing essential operational support. They will greet, check in, and pack groceries for visitors; provide support to staff on our market-stand grocery line; pick up and sort donations from local vendors; deliver groceries to homebound clients; receive training in de-escalation, trauma-informed practices, warehouse operations, and have the opportunity to shadow staff positions; take on special projects aligned to member goals and interests.
