About the role

The 26-27 Elementary Educator position at the District will begin in the 2026-27 school year. This is a probationary position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct coursework
• Assess scholars' work and accuracy with feedback
• Create a warm, welcoming, and affirming classroom environment
• Set high expectations anchored in rigorous instruction
• Utilize instructional strategies that adapt to diverse learning needs

Requirements

• Current and applicable NYS Certification
• Fingerprint clearance required

Qualifications

• Experience in elementary education
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
