About the Role
The Duplicating Assistant supports our printing and duplicating operations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of various printing and binding equipment and software. This role requires physical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in both team and individual settings.
Responsibilities
- Load copy machines with the correct materials for specific job requirements.
- Load wide format printers with materials for banners, pictures, or posters.
- Adhere printed materials to foam boards for displays.
- Operate cutting machines for business cards and wide format cut-outs.
- Use booklet makers to compile and bind documents.
- Set up and run jobs independently during the manager's absence.
- Package print jobs appropriately to ensure safe and documented delivery.
- Operate large quantity paper cutters for creating notepads.
- Utilize binding boards for gluing notepads together.
- Assist with filing and work assigned by the department.
- Assist out in the warehouse with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of directly related experience; at least 1 year at a school district is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Capability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently when required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and technical operations.
- Proactive and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Physical ability to lift 25lb boxes of paper and wide format rolls.
Schedule
Secretary 1 salary schedule.
Working Conditions
- Production floor or warehouse environment.
