26-27 Custodial Worker 1

About the Role

Kutztown University is accepting applications for open Custodial Worker 1 positions for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. Selected individuals will perform custodial duties in student residence halls or academic buildings, as well as other seasonal duties including snow shoveling. These are essential personnel positions.

Open positions include:

• 1st shift Housing Custodial Worker 1 – 3 openings
• 2nd shift E&G Custodial Worker 1 – 2 openings
• 3rd shift E&G Custodial Worker 1 – 3 openings

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties in student residence halls and academic buildings
• Complete seasonal duties such as snow shoveling

Requirements

• Computer literacy (email, Microsoft Office, Internet)

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include previous custodial experience in an industrial setting (e.g., hospital, nursing home).

Pay

Starting salary for this position is $32,724.00 per the AFSCME contract.
