About the role
As a paraprofessional, you will support educational programs by assisting teachers in the classroom. Your responsibilities may include preparing instructional materials, assisting students with special needs, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare instructional materials and resources for classroom activities
- Assist students with special needs to ensure they have equal access to learning opportunities
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment by enforcing school rules and policies
- Support teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- High School Graduate degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- Experience working in a classroom setting is preferred
- Knowledge of educational standards and best practices
