About the role
As a paraprofessional, you will support educational programs by assisting teachers in the classroom and providing additional academic assistance to students.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students
- Help manage classroom activities and materials
- Support students with special needs
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Pass a background check
