Position Overview

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in the execution of all operational and merchandising functions that occur within the store during their assigned shift. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service to every guest.

Major Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions

  • Drive sales to achieve and exceed personal and store goals.
  • Afford to handle all funds and merchandise according to Company policy and procedure.
  • Afford to assist with scheduling a minimum of 1 grass-root event per quarter.
  • Afford to effectively manage merchandise.
  • Afford to drive Marketing initiatives.
  • Afford to provide an exceptional customer service experience to all customers.
  • Afford to serve as product knowledge expert to educate customers.
  • Afford to successfully model the Company values.
  • Afford to drive PLCC to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Afford to assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and visual changes to enhance the Brand.
  • Afford to assist in replenishing floor stock.
  • Afford to ensure the neatness, maintenance and cleanliness of the store.
  • Afford to communicate with Store Manager and Full Time Assistant Manager on areas of importance.
  • Afford to maintain the highest standards in store operations in relation to the Policy and Procedures manual.
  • Afford to effectively manage time for self.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6– 12 months prior retail experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to apply retail math principles.
  • Able to use a POS system.
  • Able to have a high level of initiative and accountability.
  • Able to prove a proven ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business.
  • Able to be detail oriented; consistently meet deadlines.
