About the role
The Major Trauma Service at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh is seeking a Major Trauma Rehabilitation Coordinator to lead the coordination of rehabilitation pathways for all major trauma patients. The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure equitable and consistent rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement early written rehabilitation plans for Major Trauma patients from admission to discharge.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to identify and monitor patient-centered rehabilitation goals and ensure achievement of Scottish Trauma Network key performance indicators.
- Repatriate Major Trauma patients to hospitals closer to their home, coordinating with other coordinators across Scotland and internationally.
- Provide clinical expertise, advice, and support to patients, their carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
You will have senior clinical experience as an Allied Health Professional (AHP) within an acute or rehabilitation specialty. You must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a PVG Scheme membership/record.
Qualifications
