About the role
Positions are dependent on extramural funding. Project Scientist series positions are occasionally available throughout the year in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
Responsibilities
Previous track record in independent and collaborative research are highly desirable. Experience in grant writing and submission, preferably with knowledge of NIH grant applications strongly preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to mentor and train diverse research teams is essential. Demonstrated publication record in reputable scientific journals. Project Scientists make significant and creative contributions to research or creative projects.
